With Glen Hansard. Its been a long time coming but his acceptance of last night's Oscar really pushed me over the edge. Since I might be the only one who knows how wonderful the music from Once is, despite my relentless flogging of it here, I will embed videos. Click, ok?

At Sundance
This would be the song that won the Oscar. In the film and recordings, Irglova plays piano which is nice but I can't get over this performance, on a snowy sidewalk at Sundance. And look... Glen has given Marketa his coat 'cuz she's cold...awww...


Hansard was just ebullient in his acceptance...I love the way he says, "tanks" and "this is just mad".



Awful that they played Marketa off before she got a chance to make her thanks; that was nicely (and unusually?) handled by Stewart and the producers...
