What I'm not liking...

Here's a list of things I'm not digging currently:

1. I can't wish my sister a happy birthday.
2. I can't talk to my Mom because she's off in Europe and won't touch a computer
3. My UnDead sister is hiking with 11 year olds in Menocino...no communication for a week.
4. My Geminiece is in Spain and while we can instant message, etc, its not the same
5. Kells is a great communicator and chatter but very soon she's off to China and...largely out of touch.
6. I'm completely up to date on all episodes of In Treatment and have to wait for more just like everyone else.

WHY IS EVERYONE MISSING IN ACTION?

Because I'm supposed to be all grown up and count my blessings, here's a list of what I AM currently digging:
1. My husband and kids, most of all when they're asleep.
2. Playing around with some ideas for a quilting project...its a bit intimidating, actually.
3. I'm working on the second sock of some cutie anklets. Picture. Look.
4. Gary Louris, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Bare Naked Ladies and the North Mississippi All-Stars.
5. My Lillies-of-the-Valley are in glorious bloom. I'm really psyched about that. You know what this means? It means I'm old. Sh*t, now I'll have to move this to the "not digging it" list....

It really sounds like you have it all but there is just no one around to invite to your pity party at this time. Tracy invited Sister and I to a Happy BooDay on Saturday. We chewed juicy fruit and thought about you girls all day long. Did you not feel the vibes? We will plant our forget me nots and carry on just like Boo would do if she lost one of us. You have too. Call Nonna, I'll cheer you up. LYFE

I actually gave calling you and Sister a lot of consideration. I wasn't really coversation-capable; to much snuffling and tears. But I'll call soon. Home Thursday evening?
