Happy fourth Birthday, Lindsay!

Un globo, dos globos, tres globos...

Time flies, kids. I can't believe my youngest daughter is four today. She is relentlessly spoiled and often hard to be with. She's just really cute, ya know? You can't help it...especially knowing she's the last kid for this family...and its not just me: Pilar spoiled her, her Nana spoils her, her sisters even fall prey to her wheedling...

The celebration was extremely low key and she couldn't have enjoyed it more: she spent most the day playing with sisters. We had balloons (of course!), cake, ice cream and gifts around five with Nana and then we all traipsed out to see Shrek the Third with the neighbors across the street.

The movie was tolerable; had some funny moments, lots of burps and farts for the kid and male-appeal. I had my knitting and the kids were engaged so what else would a girl need? Although cute, sweet and familiar, this one isn't as good as the previous two. Kids will like it but it drags a bit. I think if there's to be a fourth they'll have to really do better.

Speaking of childrens' entertainment, I put up a post on "kid music" on my other blog. If you have kids, check it out. We've had lots of fun with the music I put there.
