Hey, tonight I was googling some images to use as cover art for a mix cd I put together for a friend. Basically, a buddy of mine from HS has agreed to go see Jeff 'Tain Watts with me in October but he's just being a good guy, I don't think he's into jazz. So I made him a kick ass cd to get his ear and head in the right place. Wanting to get it in the mail, I was making it pretty and I googled "funky jazz" and selected "images". Wasn't finding a whole lot and then, BINGO! Look at this!
I'd never seen this one before but there's Steve, Kevin, and that nice piano guy (Bill?) that Steve sends to fetch his Diet cokes... Lyman---you ain't nothin' but a star. I put at least one track from every cd of yours I have. You're in some seriously good company on that disc....

Great shot for sure. I'm glad Lyman's picture is next to Funky Jazz in the goggle dictionary. By the way you are indeed a lucky duck. Your life has even gotten better since you quit working, who'd a guessed. LYFE Donna
well, I kinda had a hunch that life would improve without the job...I really *don't* miss it. At all. Although I must say it was very very cool to publish book chapters, etc. I guess I'll have to go ahead and write my novel soon. LYFE. We need to chat on the phone....
