And the heat pump that services our upstairs is *kaput*. And indeed, I do believe that hot air rises---but there ain't that much of it just now!

So guess what I just remembered? If you take a glass---oh, about 8 - 1o ounces total volume-- a beautiful bottle of high quality tequila, perhaps a reposado... and you pour that tequila into the glass but just about 1/3 of the way up---don't get crazy! But then, you put in a nice squeeze of lime or a splash of Rose's Lime if your persian limes are looking all withered or even fuzzy... so then you take the glass very carefully up the stairs and gingerly hold it while you pile in under the covers and turn on the 4th season of The Wire...commence sipping politely---bingo. Suddenly, everything is very cozy.
