What's in a Sweater

Well, I can hardly stand it; I think I'll have to send Daniel his sweater by an overnight service---I can't wait for him to have it on his person:

Daniel selected this pattern when we were visiting in Tampa over the summer. In November he called to see how it was coming along so I suspect he will be very very pleased with it. For the ones who care---this is based loosely on a pattern in The Yarn Girls Knits for Big Kids, mocked up in Sweater Wizard for a custom fit. Stripes were knit in, "varsity" letter done in duplicate stitch... it was my first effort at dupe stitching and I'm afraid it shows but its a good skill to have learned as I see it coming up as the "correct" way of weaving in ends for the AKGA Master's program.

I'm pleased as punch!
