Was there life before YouTube?

I dunno, man. I've had way too much fun looking at old vids; today I was even reminded me of one of my faves that I had completely forgotten about:

And while we're at it, I might as well tell you that this next one is my favorite video of all time; hands down, no question about it:

I didn't realize until today that both of these make light of the very tragic plight of the vertically challenged man. It makes me feel...well, it doesn't bother me at all! Of course I shouldn't have to tell you that Sledgehammer and Burnin' Down the House are also fabulous. And the Virtual Insanity video renewed my faith in pop music(icians) back in the '90's. Good times.

What about you? Favorite videos?

One of my all-time favorite videos because of its visual aspect has been A-Ha's "Take On Me".

ah yes; I liked that much more in the years before it took on the association of Norwegian romance gone bad....

In my experience, anyone who was born within a three year range of 1974, you ask them their fave vid, and it's for sure Take On Me.

I'm a big fan of You can Call Me Al - I could watch it over and over again. Ah, they just don't make them like they used to.
