Unbelievable

Since Saturday's announcement that the Troopergate investigation had found Sarah Palin guilty of violating the State's ethics code in her efforts to remove her brother-in-law from service, I've awoken each morning to immediately scour the papers and web for news that she has now decided "to spend more time with her family" and sign off the GOP ticket. Of course you know how disappointed I've been.

But I never, never, never imagined that the campaign would find some way to overlook the mess. Seriously. Can you imagine Palin claiming vindication? Really? Yep. Just read this Op-Ed from the Anchorage Daily News today. Keep in mind, too, there's no chance partisan politics are acting out: the investigative team were all GOP officials.

Unbelievable. I can't flipping believe this. I STILL can't believe she is on a National ticket for elected office of ANY kind, let alone the Veep slot. I mean---I just CAN'T believe it.

Please wake me when the papers are reporting the news that I know must be coming....

Once again we need only look to how the GOP treated Hilary to find the hypocrisy in the Palin campaign. Hilary was quickly branded a 'crook' for the old Whitewater trial, now that Palin has been found guilty of a state's investigation we are hearing nothing similar.

thus confirming, yet again, that truth is always more surprising than fiction. You just can't make this stuff up.
