Susseles Baby Cleaned Up

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to co- co- co-host a baby shower for a friend of mine and I didn't have to have it at my house. Isn't that spectacular?

M. and D. are expecting their first baby (girl) next month. D. has prepared himself by purchasing a Wii of which I am greatly envious. Wise move; it doesn't appear that he's going to get any attention at all once the baby arrives... Grandparents live within spitting distance, "Aunties" all around...see ya, sperm donor...

My contributions were modest but kind of yummy: 3 quiches (Lorraine, Ham/Swiss, Crab/Chive), cheeseball and crudites...I loved the quiche. Oh---and the music. I got to be in charge of the music. Another co- co- co- host brought some really adorable cupcakes---they were delicious, too.

Some photos...

The guest(s) of honor...

The expectant grandmother...

M's good friend---one of two other pregnant women at the shower...

M's best friend who came all the way from Raleigh to throw the shower. She did a great job---as usual!

Photos from chez Mullen...

Otis was being a very bouncy dog and giving me those "let's play" eyes. He's so cute. Why does he perch on the sofa cuhions like a cat?

A while ago as I was doing some housework, I noticed the absence of little Lindsay. Went looking and found the little urchin curled up in her own bed, sound asleep. Intentionally, like...

wow.

I had no real idea how pregnant I looked til I saw these pictures!

I had a great time at the shower. Thank you so much for everything (especially the extra cheese ball we ate yesterday!)

Love you! - M
